Possible breakouts

UNITED OVERSEAS BANK ($16.24) - Breakout, new target
- Prices have broken out of the three-times-tested resistance at $15.62
- Break above $15.62 indicates a target of $17.06
- If prices fall back to below $15.60, then the breakout would have failed

DBS GROUP HOLDINGS ($12.60) - Poised for a breakout
- This counter hasn't quite broken out of resistance of $12.60
- A successful break indicates a target of $13.96

VENTURE CORP ($8.28) - Bull flag, new target
- New target from the bull flag is $9
- Support is at $8.20

AZTECH (25.5 cents) - Breaks out of resistance
- Prices jumped out of a consolidation pattern at 21 cents
- Break indicates a target of 30 cents

CAPITAMALL TRUST ($1.58) - Breakout, new target
- Prices have broken out of a multi-month base formation at $1.46
- Break indicates at target of $1.93
- A break below $1.46 would be negative

SINOMEM TECHNOLOGY (26 cents) - Breaks out, new target
- Prices broke out of the twice tested 24 cents resistance level
- Break above 14 cents indicates a target of 34 cents

Commodity plays recover

OLAM INTERNATIONAL ($2.34) - Rebound underway
- Important to watch $2.12 mark. Acts as established support
- Resistance is at $2.40

WILMAR INTERNATIONAL ($5.53) - Approaching all-time high
- Strongest stock in the commodities sector
- Support is at $5

FIRST RESOURCES (68 cents) - Breakout level at 70 cents
- Resistance at 70 cents
- A successful breakout indicates a target of 81 cents

INDOFOOD AGRI RESOURCES ($1.22) - Challenging resistance
- Prices attempted a rally, but the move is likely to be stopped by its 50 day moving average at $1.25
- An eventual break would provide the impetus for a test of $1.40

GOLDEN AGRI-RESOURCES (35 cents) - Breaching resistance
- Prices are breaking above immediate resistance at 33.5 cents
- If prices can sustain the break above the 100 day moving average, a stronger rally could follow with prices testing 42 cents

STRAITS ASIA RESOURCES ($1.76) - Attempting recovery
- To maintain its uptrend, prices need to move above $1.81 as soon as possible
- Volume has risen on the up-tic but a significant increase is required for a breakout

Property plays break support

CITY DEVELOPMENTS ($8.20) - Breaks support
- Price broke $8.38
- Sign of weakness and the break indicates a target of $7
- Support at $7

CAPITALAND ($3.39) - Breaks support
- Price broke support level of $3.50
- Support at $3

KEPPEL LAND ($2.10) - Set to fall further
- Price appear poised to break below support at current levels
- Break would indicate a move towards $1.50

ALLGREEN PROPERTIES (92.5 cents) - Moving average breached
- Prices appear poised to break below current levels at 95 cents
- A break would point to a downside of 70 cents

WING TAI HOLDINGS ($1.27) - Set for a tumble
- Like the leaders, this counter is also set to fall towards $1
- Unlikely to regain $1.30 mark in the short term

UNITED OVERSEAS LAND ($3.30) - Superior relative strength
- Appears to be the strongest stock in a weak sector
- Support at $3.25
- Prices could dip below the $3 level during the correction
- Resistance has been established at $3.50

EZION HOLDINGS (61 cents) - Rebounding off support
- Prices rebounded after testing support at 53 cents
- Resistance at 67 cents

SWIBER HOLDINGS (84.5 cents) - Drifting lower
- Prices have drifted sideways for six weeks, and are now at the 50 day moving average at 83 cents
- Resistance appears at 97 cents

COSCO CORP ($1.24) - At support
- Resistance/breakout is at $1.30
- A successful break indicates a target of $1.47 initially, and $1.80 eventually

EZRA HOLDINGS ($1.18) - Support at hand
- Quarterly momentum is weak
- Support at the $1.15 to $1.18 range
- Resistance is at $1.29

FALCON ENERGY GROUP (64.5 cents) - Forming triangle
- Support has been established at 56 cents
- Breakout is at 67 cents
- A successful break indicates a target of 82 cents

ASL MARINE (82.5 cents) - Still corrective
- Quarterly momentum is somewhat weak
- Support is at 80 cents
- Strong resistance is at the 97 cents to 98 cents range.
